Occupational First-Aid Level I

Occupational First Aid Level 1 is a one-day course where participants will be able to demonstrate the Priority Action Approach (to the end of the primary survey) for conscious patients and patients with a decreased level of consciousness.
Students will learn to identify and administer:
- Appropriate Critical Interventions of the Airway with C-spine Control
for Conscious Patients & Patients with Decreased Level of Consciousness - Circulatory Emergencies & Appropriate Interventions
- Interventions for Minor Soft Tissue Injuries Including the need for Medical Referral
& be Familiar with the Required Paperwork ( First Aid Record and Form 7A )
Upon successful completion of the course material and a written examination, the student will be issued a certificate that is valid for a period of 2 years.
NOTE:
Prerequisite, the participants must be at least 16 years old
