Emergency First-Aid is a one-day training program which meets the requirements for Occupational Health & Safety for Basic First Aid.
This program covers an overview of basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home which includes the latest first aid and CPR level C guidelines and exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.
The purpose of this program is to give students the confidence to apply potential life saving techniques to the general public, co-workers, friends or family members.
Participants will receive a student manual in which they will be able to follow along and take required notes as part of their participation.

- The Red Cross Organization
- The EMS System
- Breathing & Circulation Emergencies
- Check, Call, Care
- Airway Emergencies
- First-Aid for Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest
- Wound Care
Full participation, hands-on demonstrations and a written examination are required to successfully complete the program and receive certification which is valid for 3 years.
